  Dating after Divorcing a JW...

  any experiences/advice on dating (moving on) after a separation or divorce from a jw?.

  i know that when (not if) i leave the org, my wife will probably separate then divorce me (and we have 3 small children).

  i only know of horror stories when it comes to that type of scenario.

  I understand the fear of being alone. In JW world it's like your used goods if you are divorced. In the real world your a single available man. I don't have much advice except to not feel the guilt JW's put on you and get a lawyer JW's are ruthless when it comes to kids and dvorce. Best of luck!

  Are more long standing JW's leaving?

  at one time, it seemed that the majority of those leaving, were young ones brought up in the cult.. from what i can see now (at least on here), there seems to be a high number of 20+ baptised members years leaving.. has this always been the case?

  it might be i just didn't notice from my parochial view from the kingdom hall!.

  or are there really more long standing jw's leaving now, than ever before?.

  Any new directions about Facebook at the summer conventions?

  just wondering because a few of my jw friends have "left the building".

  i really hope so because i am totally regretting having a few fb pals.

  hope more leave soon.

  wobble I thought the new elder book said it's not a JC offence unless you have spiritual conversations or disregarding the JC decision... I wonder if that means FB Friends? I don't know but i do have some JW's that haven't deleted me yet and on my facebook I call JW's a cult...

  Haven't been to the KH in about 3 years. Divorced my JW husband and now labled Crazy Apostate! It's fun watching the scared JW's in my town running from me. I'm so scarrrryyy!

  What Did You Not Do Because You Were A Jehovah's Witness That You Wanted To Do?

  i didn't go to college and of course, "higher education" was never recommended.

  still, i never felt terribly deprived because of not going further in my education.. yet, i did wish that i could've had "normal" aka "worldly friends".

  i wish that as witnesses, we could've been better integrated with other people.

  It's Crap... I like your name. I was one of the "pioneer marry Elder stay married 13 years and woke up" at 1st I thought the problem was my bad marriage but once I got free of that I realized the lack of love and "elder abuse"... I was a pillar in the congregation and left! It's so clear now I just wonder why they all don't see it?
